Shannon International Airport is the main international airport in the west but Knock International Airport is adding new routes all the time. Dublin International Airport would be the largest international airport in the country but is the furthest drive from Brigids Garden. Galway Airport is the closest airport but services only UK and European destinations.

Galway Airport is the closest airport but services destinations in Ireland, UK & Europe. Galway Airport to Brigids Garden will take appx 45 mins depending on traffic.

Knock Airport is in Mayo and is a bit further out but is currently growing and adding new flights all the time. Brigids Garden to the Knock Airport door will take appx 1 1/2 hours depending on traffic.

Shannon is perhaps the most well-known airport in the West of Ireland because of its frequent flights to and from North America. Brigit's Garden to Shannon Airport will take appx 2 hours depending on traffic.

Dublin International Airport

Dublin Airport is on the East coast of Ireland but with the new motorway, you can reach Brigit's Garden in just over 3 hours by car, or alternatively Airport Bus direct to Galway via www.citylink.ie

There is a good network of railway throughout Ireland and the rates are best when booked on the Irish Rail - Iarnród Éireann website. Note trains only go as far as Galway city.

Brigid's Garden is easily accessible by car from any location in Ireland. It's located on the main N59 road, west of Galway City. Galway City is well-connected to the country's major road networks and the journey from Galway City takes appx 35 minutes.
